LAUNCHING

[/dfd_heading]

Directly from Austria, Aerospace Team Graz aka ASTG, has over 65 students, from a wide variety of disciplines!

What unites them? The curiosity about space! To achieve their goal, they design and develop the flight computer and SRAD booster of their first rocket all by themselves.

From Switzerland, the EPFL Rocket Team brings together more than 60 motivated and passionate aerospace enthusiasts.

The project’s goal is to design and launch a rocket to an altitude of 3 km propelled by a SRAD hybrid rocket engine.

RED is a Portuguese team from Instituto Superior Técnico whose purpose is to design, build, test and launch… imagine what? Rockets!

Founded in 2017, it has already launched 4 rockets and is now preparing the Blimunda mission, that will be participating in EuRoC!

Arriving from United Kingdom: Bath University Rocket Team is a group of student engineers based at the based at University of Bath!

The team’s design focuses on demonstrating an active flight control system whilst investigating if useful energy can be extracted from vehicle vibrations.

Space Team Aachen is participating at EuRoC for the second time.

After the successful launch of their solid motor rocket CARL last year, they hope to repeat the experience this year with a new and improved version of their rocket.

Association Air ESIEA is promoting aerospace and working on related projects since 1986.

Team Spirit award winners in EuRoC 2020, they now strive to take their team to a new era of innovativeness with their rocket Cirrus.

From United Kingdom, ICL Rocketry is a student amateur rocketry team of over 100 Aeronautical Engineering students of the Imperial College London.

Born out of a hybrid engine project in 2018, they now work on a range of projects, from breaking altitude records to prototype advanced payload concepts.

Endeavour, from the The University of Edinburgh, are working to advance the UK space industry by giving students experience with aerospace and space technology.

The team will launch Darwin 2 – aiming to break the sound barrier at EuRoC 2021!

Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering was founded in 2001 and has since grown to a team of 190+ active members and launched over 160+ rockets!

2021 is the first year DARE will participate at EuRoC, launching a dual SRAD motor rocket, and carrying a lunar rover payload.

2Space was born in Romania 2019 and has developed a team of 20 students.

Joining EuRoC is an opportunity to enrich the knowledge in space science and develop a structural prototype, but also to enjoy quality time with other teams in Portugal!

From United Kingdom, Cranfield Students for the Exploration and Development of Space will bring IFPRETTY to the EuRoC 2021: a two stages rocket targeting a 3000m apogee.

Developed by a diverse and international team of students from Cranfield University, IFPRETTY will carry a payload designed by a local school.

PoliWRocket is since 2017 a group of students from Poland – Wrocław whose goal is to share their passions, learn from each other and construct experimental rockets together.

For the EuRoC 2021, they are working on the R4 which is they 4th rocket.

Skyward Experimental Rocketry from Politecnico di Milano was founded in 2012 and with 5 launches to date it holds the Italian student rocketry record.

EuRoC 2021 is Skyward’s first-ever competition, to which they will participate with Lynx.

PICCARD is ARIS first hybrid propellent rocket, built by a team of over 50 talented engineering students.

Named after Swiss explorer Auguste Piccard, famed for his helium balloon flights, it will take to the sky in the 9km SRAD category.

Propulse NTNU is a rocketry team from Trondheim in Norway.

They are competing in the S9-c category with their rocket Stetind, who builds on the experience from the organization‘s two forerunning projects.

Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team is an greek aerospace student team from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

A.S.A.T. was selected to compete at EuRoC in the 3000m COTS Motor category with their newest high-power rocket, SELENE.

SIMLE from the Politechnika Gdańska, includes students from various faculties.

Building rockets since 2018, their goal for this year is to build their own engine and polish their rocket flight simulation.

AGH Space Systems is an interdisciplinary construction team from Kraków, Poland, focused on the development of space-related technologies, including sounding rockets, planetary rovers and stratospheric balloon gondolas.

Danish Student Association for Rocketry is a student rocketry association located in Denmark with 40 active members from more than 10 countries and 16 different study lines.

Currently building their next bi-liquid rocket, Valkyrie, will be launched in the 9km category.

Last year’s team EULER has regrouped to launch ARIS’ first supersonic rocket at EuRoC 2021.

EULER will compete in the COTS solid motor category aiming to precisely reach the target altitude of 9km thanks to the integrated air brake system.
